We are trying to integrate MyScript iOS ATK into our Objective-C application where the app needs to connect to a Wacom Creative Intuos Stylus for writing purpose.
Wacom is already providing the SDK for the Bluetooth connection establishment with the device, but however we are unable to utilize the palm rejection feature while integrating both the SDKs ( MyScript + Wacom ).
Is there any code samples or way we can achieve this feature ?
Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
We have no specific api to integrate the Wacom SDK. Could you please let us know which text widget do you use? And what is your use case?
At present only the Interactive Text Component offers the ability to manage the ink through ‘AddStroke’ api that could fit your requirements.
Did you have a look at the api of this widget to check if it could fit your needs?
Thank you for the response.
We are trying to integrate Multiline Text Widget in our app in which we are looking for the palm rejection feature as to avoid the responses of the palm sitting on the iPad screen while writing.
Will be happy to extend any more input if required.
As mentioned in the previous post, only the Interactive Text Component offers the ability to manage the ink through ‘AddStroke’ api that could fit your requirements to integrate Wacom SDK and the palm rejection feature.
As Multiline widget is based on the Interactive Text Component, it seems to be the best choice for your needs.
Did you check its documentation to see if it could meet your expectations?
