is it possible to add additional candidate words without putting .res files?

Hello MyScript tech guys, my name is Euisung Kim.

I'm trying out ATK 2.x SCW. I know how to make more candidate words appear by making .res files and edit the conf file. But what I want to do is programmatically adding candidate words. For example, I could create a list of strings somewhere in my program, and I want the recognition engine to consider it. How could this be easily approached in your opinion?

Thank you.

Dear Euisung Kim,

thank you for contacting us.

First, please note you can set the number of candidates programmatically using the WordCandidateListSize property, as follows: Widget.WordCandidateListSize = 5.
Please note a similar property is available for characters (Widget.CharacterCandidateListSize).

If order to add a lexicon programmatically, you can use the SetUserLexicon function: Widget.SetUserLexicon(MyListOfWords).

This way, your own words will be taken into account in the recognition context.

Best regards,

Olivier
