A few years ago, we released a free Word plugin letting people directly handwrite equations into Microsoft Word.
After some initial traction, its usage steadily declined over the years, with the raise of mobile devices and the availability of other handwriting-centric applications.
The plugin was based on a server stack that recently reached its end of life, replaced with a newer offering.
Due to the low usage and our need to focus on our core technology and Nebo application, we have taken the decision not to update it and to remove it from the Office store.
Should you wish to continue handwriting equations using MyScript handwriting recognition, and although it will not provide a perfect replacement, you can consider switching to MyScript Nebo's built-in Word export and equation support.
