We are using the underline gesture for text decoration quite a bit in our app, but it happens frequently that the underline is instead mistaken for a deletion gesture by the gesture detection of the SDK. We looked at the configuration settings of the SDK and it seems that the only configuration option is to enable/disable all gestures as a block by setting the value of "gesture.enable".
Our client feels that, for convenience, it would be good if it was possible to enable / disable specific gestures when a user finds that some gestures are difficult to use. They would like to know why it is not possible to configure specific gestures individually.
Here I am directly translating the question of the client but they are also asking for what purpose the iink SDK was built and what is the objective of the SDK.

Dear Nicolas,
thank you for the questions.
Indeed, it is not possible to configure the gestures individually. We did not develop the API for this purpose, and cannot tell if/when this will be done.
They are also asking for what purpose the iink SDK was built and what is the objective of the SDK. >>The easier is that they refer to the concepts of the interactivity: https://developer.myscript.com/docs/concepts/interactive-ink/ And the fastest answer is basically that the iink SDK brings the Nebo interactive features. Playing with our Nebo application, they will use the interactivity.
