Hello,
Thank you for contacting us.
Please note that your application key is personal, so make sure to keep it secret.
1. and 2.
You can use your free account to perform any language recognition.
3. You are right Arabic is not supported by all Web APsI: you can recognize Arabic with either Offscreen Websocket mode ("interactive" mode) or REST APIs ("non interactive" mode).
When using iinkTS these APIs correspond to INTERACTIVE_INK canvas and INK_V2 canvas type (refer to https://developer.myscript.com/docs/interactive-ink/4.5/web/iinkts/canvas/ )
You can use this iinkTS example to test it https://myscript.github.io/iinkTS/examples/non-specific/change_configuration.html
For "interactive" mode, choose the INTERACTIVE_INK canvas type and modify the language. Don't forget to click on the "valid" button to update the configuration:

For REST mode choose the INK_V2 canvas type and modify the language. Don't forget to click on the "valid" button to update the configuration:

Hello MyScript team,
I'm evaluating the iink SDK (iinkJS / iink-ts) for a handwriting note-taking app that needs Arabic text recognition specifically.
I created a free developer account and generated Cloud Recognition (Web) keys, then called getAvailableLanguageList() against my configuration. Arabic does not appear anywhere in the returned language list for my account/application.
Could you please confirm:
1. Is Arabic text recognition included in the free trial / developer account, or is it restricted to specific commercial plans?
2. If it requires a different plan or a specific request, what are the steps and approximate pricing to enable Arabic recognition for a small/early-stage app?
3. Is Arabic recognition available in "interactive" mode, or only "non-interactive" mode as mentioned in your documentation - and does that distinction affect availability in the trial?
Thank you for your help - looking forward to your response.
