When I draw equation or formula on single line text widget, it produces some texts anyway.
When I draw text on math widget it produces some formula anyway.
In both cases, I think the recognition correctness ratio, if any, will be very low.
Is there any method to get such ratio in ATK or CDK?
Dear HK Kim,
thank you for your question.
Indeed, this is a limitation of our technology: The Single Line Text Wigdet has not been designed to recognize Math Equations (it is based on our Text Technology), and the MathWidget has not been designed to recognized text (this latter Wigdet is based on our Math Technology).
At present, we do not have any technology that would pre-process the ink to determine which kind of ink (Math or Text) is input to call the proper widget. If you want to be able to recognize Text and Math into the same application, one solution could consist in using 2 different pens (one for Math, one for Text), so that you can call the proper widget accordingly.
Let us know if this answers your questions.
Thank you very much for your kind reply.
Is there no method for getting recognition correctness even though we use SDK ?
Dear HK Kim,
even using the SDK, such limitation occurs. The only way to proceed is managing by yourself the ink corresponding to text and math, so that you can call the proper widget.
Your advice has been of great help!
