How to change the language properties of myscript-common-element

My code is as follows, but it does not work

<myscript-common-element scheme="https"

                            host="webdemoapi.myscript.com"

                            applicationkey="515131ab-35fa-411c-bb4d-3917e00faf60"

                            hmackey="54b2ca8a-6752-469d-87dd-553bb450e9ad"

                            touch-action="none"

                            disableconvertcontrol

                            lang="zh-hk"

                            disableclearcontrol>

</myscript-common-element>

Dear Ju Yun,

thank you for contacting us and the interest you show to our products.

Can you please try to replace "z-hk" by "zh_HK"?

Let us know if this doesn"t work.

Best regards,

Olivier

Thank you for the answer. I tried zh-HK, zh_hk, zh-HK, zh_HK, and did not solve the problem. I couldn't find a sample of the myscript-common-element setup language in the developer document. Could you please provide a DEMO link for reference.

Thank you

Dear Ju Yun,

currently, you are using the myscript-common-element, which doesn't have a "language" parameter.

Instead, you should use the myscript-text-web, which allows you to set the language: https://developer.myscript.com/docs/interactive-ink/1.1/web/web-components/text-element/get-started/

    <myscript-text-web
        applicationkey="YOUR MYSCRIPT CDK APPLICATION KEY"
        hmackey="YOUR MYSCRIPT CDK HMAC KEY"
        language="en_US">
    </myscript-text-web>

In your case, using the myscript-text-web, please ensure you set "zh_HK" as language parameter.

Best regards,

Olivier

I want to use pointerevents, and Myscript-text-web does not support pointerevents, is there any other solution?

Dear Ju yun,

currently, as `text-web` inherits  of `common`, it supports the pointer events. For this, you should use the `usepointerlisteners` property: https://myscript.github.io/myscript-text-web/components/myscript-text-web/#/elements/myscript-text-web#property-usepointerlisteners

Best regards,

Olivier
