General questions

converting ink to common raster formats?

I've seen inktool -- at least I can view an inkfile -- but I use linux and InkTool seems to have bugs (I used wine and actual windows)

I'm new to digital ink -- what's a good way to view an ink file? Should I use inkml instead?
(there may be converters for inkml to a viewable/raster format)
